Thiruvananthapuram: A woman was allegedly hacked and injured by her husband here on Friday. The victim is Ajitha, a native of Aryanad near Nedumangad. She was allegedly attacked by her husband Unnikrishnan.
According to Ajitha, Unnikrishnan used to quarrel with her regularly. She has sustained injuries on her head, hand and a leg.
“After quarrelling with me last night, he went outside the house. He came back in the morning and knocked on the door. When I opened the door, he attacked me using a knife. Soon after, he fled the place”, said Ajitha.
