Kochi: A daily wage labourer was killed after a lift at a private firm collapsed in Unnichira, Thrikkakara, on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Naseer (43), a Unnichira native. 

The accident happened at around 4 p.m. while Naseer was loading materials into the lift. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
