Malappuram, Kerala: In an unusual incident, fishermen near Azhikkal found two brass Naga idols weighing over five kilograms in their fishing net.

The fishermen reported the matter to Tanur police and handed over the idols for further action.

Police suspect the idols may have been stolen from a temple or deliberately abandoned at sea. An investigation is underway to determine their origin and trace any links to local temples.
