Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has launched a glass-encased double-decker bus designed to offer tourists a stunning panoramic view of Munnar's picturesque landscapes. The new Royal View bus features transparent glass panels on the roof and sides, providing an unobstructed, scenic experience as passengers travel through the hill station.

The bus is equipped to carry 38 passengers on the upper deck and 12 on the lower deck. It also includes a music system, along with provisions for drinking water and snacks, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable journey for all.

Unveiled in Thiruvananthapuram, the bus will be transported to Munnar in ten days, where it will begin operating for tourists. The launch event was inaugurated by Transport Minister K. B. Ganesh Kumar, with Kadakampally Surendran MLA presiding over the ceremony. Other notable figures at the event included KSRTC CMD Pramoj Shankar, Ward Councilor D.G. Kumaran, and mechanical engineer Unnikrishnan.
