The seizure was made during a joint operation by the Railway Police and the District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force (DANSAF).
According to police, Sardar was intercepted after arriving at the railway station on a train in the morning.
During preliminary questioning, she allegedly told investigators that the ganja had been brought from the Andhra Pradesh border and was intended for distribution in Kozhikode, police said.
Second major seizure in two weeks
The latest seizure is the second major ganja haul reported at Kozhikode railway station in the past two weeks.
Last week, authorities seized 18 kg of ganja and arrested two West Bengal natives in connection with the case.
Police suspect that Sardar may have links to members of the gang arrested last week and are investigating whether others are involved in the suspected drug distribution network.
In recent days, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Police have intensified inspections of trains as part of efforts to detect the movement of narcotics through the railway network.
Sardar was produced before a court and remanded in judicial custody, police said.
