
Pariyaram: Following the trial court’s directive to assess the mental state of Jolly Joseph, the prime accused in the infamous Koodathai case involving six murders within the family, she has been admitted to the Kannur Government Medical College. Currently, she is an inmate of the Women Prison in Kannur.
A report on her mental state will be prepared and submitted jointly by the Psychiatric Department and Psychology Department of the Medical College within two days.
Jolly was given treatment at Neurology and Psychology Departments at the Medical College several times before.
As the Psychiatric Department there is under maintenance, patients are allotted three rooms on another floor.
