Kollam: What began as a disagreement over the distribution of ice cream at a wedding reception in Kerala's Kollam district ended in a large-scale brawl, disrupting what was meant to be a peaceful celebration.

The incident occurred on Sunday at the BSA Auditorium in Pallimukku, Kollam. According to reports, the trouble began when members of the bride's family questioned why they had not been served ice cream during the wedding feast. What initially appeared to be a minor issue soon intensified as the reception continued.

The catering staff reportedly told them that the ice cream had run out. Dissatisfied with the explanation, some members of the bride's family allegedly tried to open a storage box to take the remaining ice cream themselves.

The confrontation soon turned physical. As local residents stepped in to intervene, the situation escalated further, resulting in a major clash.
