The State Youth Festival at Kollam concluded with showers of acknowledgment and praises on the organising committee. The decision for the Festival to be at the place was decided upon when Kollam was earning bad mouth for creating issues on small and negligible matters. Kollam proved all the prejudices wrong when the State Youth Festival concluded without leaving any serious allegations behind. 

The food, accommodation, and transport department sub-committees displayed superlative coordination. The committees led by, and comprised of teachers' associations record the Kollam Festival with the pride and joy of effective conduct.

The distance between the venues where thought of to be a matter of concern, but the Festival vehicles and the free auto services dissolved the issue. Kollam Kalolsavam 2024 is marked as a State Youth Festival without any major controversy. The Festival kitchen also functioned smoothly unlike last year when issues were raised.

At the time when the State Youth Festival venue was chosen as Kollam, the district didn't have a permanent education officer. Later, the former secretary of Pareeksha Bhavan, K. I Lal was appointed as the in-charge after which the District Science Festival and School Festivals were conducted.

Since the State Youth Festival was decided to be in Kollam, the district Festival of the year was conducted very early which helped the organising committee. At the district Festival, the differences of opinion between the Teachers Association were evident. The matter was discussed and solved before the State Youth Festival which helped the effective organisation of the team. 

Though the venue at Kollam S N College had to be changed at the last minute, it didn't affect the effective conduct of the event. 

The success of the Kollam State Youth Festival owes its credit to the reception committee chairman and minister K.N Balagopal. Unlike previous years, the venue and platforms were decided upon at a very early stage. 

Minister K.N Balagopal had been camping at Kollam from the last week of December to coordinate the Youth Festival arrangements with the education department and the other government departments.
