Thrissur:  The investigation into the Kodakara black money case has taken a new turn with the probe officials planning to quiz BJP state president K Surendran’s son. The probe team will take a statement from Surendran’s son soon.

The probe officials have information that K Surendran’s son had telephonic conversation with the main complainant Dharmarajan several times. The probe team had interrogated Surendran’s secretary and driver, Dipin and Libeesh, on Saturday and questioned the duo for over 2 hours.

The probe officials have information that Dharmarajan is the main man behind the hawala money heist. Many leaders have contacts with Dharmarajan and police are finding out the persons with whom Dharmarajan maintained contacts.

The officials found that Dharmarajan had called up Surendran’s son several times and police have proof to substantiate the claim.The new twist is likely to snowball into a major political controversy putting the BJP in further trouble.
