Six fishermen fell into the sea, while two of them are reported to have sustained serious injuries.

Kochi: A fishing boat was struck by a cargo vessel while out at sea, resulting in an accident in which two individuals sustained serious injuries. The ship is accused of sailing away despite the gravity of the mishap. The incident occurred off the Kochi coast on Thursday.
The Panama-flagged oil chemical tanker collided with the Nisniya fishing boat, which had set off from Neendakara (Kollam). The ship involved in the incident has been identified as the CR Tethys. The fishing boat, which was on a routine fishing trip, was severely damaged, with the rear portion completely destroyed.
There were 12 fishermen aboard the boat at the time of the accident. Six people fell into the sea, while the remaining individuals aboard the boat suffered injuries. Two of them are reported to have sustained serious injuries. The coastal police have registered a case against the captain of the cargo ship.
