
Kochi (Kerala): Kochi-born Malayali entrepreneur Ashwin Sreenivas has brought pride to India by securing a place on this year’s Enterprise Tech 30 list with his startup Decagon. The list recognises the most promising private companies in the enterprise technology sector.
Ashwin, a native of Ernakulam, co-founded Decagon in 2023 along with American entrepreneur Jesse Zhang. The startup has already raised approximately Rs 850 crore in funding. Decagon provides a platform that leverages generative AI to simplify complex customer support tasks for tech companies.
In the Enterprise Tech 30 ranking, Decagon secured second place in the mid-sized companies category.
Ashwin Sreenivas is the son of former AICC leader Sreenivasan Krishnan and Dr Preethi Srinivas, Head of the English Department at St Teresa’s College, Ernakulam.
