Nikah held, other events postponed.

Zainaba, 44, a resident of Tanalur in Malappuram district, died on Friday evening after choking on the remains of a cupcake the previous day.
The incident occurred on Thursday evening while she was having tea. According to family sources, the remains of a cupcake she was consuming became lodged in her throat, causing a medical emergency. She was initially taken to a private hospital in Kottakkal and later referred to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.
Despite continuous medical efforts, Zainaba passed away on Friday evening.
Nikah conducted; wedding celebrations deferred
Zainaba’s daughter, Khairunnisa, was scheduled to get married on Saturday. Following the tragedy, the family conducted only the nikah ceremony on Friday under special circumstances.
All other wedding functions were postponed to a later date.
