Six express trains will be diverted via the Alappuzha route on September 20

Thiruvananthapuram: Due to bridge maintenance work in the Chingavanam–Kottayam section in Kerala, six express trains will be diverted via the Alappuzha route on September 20.
The following trains will run through Alappuzha instead of the regular Kottayam route:
- Thiruvananthapuram – MGR Chennai Central (12624)
- Thiruvananthapuram North – Sri Ganganagar (16312)
- Thiruvananthapuram North – Bengaluru Humsafar (16319)
- Kanyakumari – Dibrugarh (22503)
- Thiruvananthapuram Central – Madurai Amrita Express (16343)
- Thiruvananthapuram Central – Mangaluru (16347)
The Madurai – Guruvayur Express (16327) on September 20 will terminate at Kollam, and will resume its journey from Kollam on September 21.
The Nagercoil – Kottayam Express (16366) on September 20 will terminate at Changanassery.
The MGR Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram Express (12695), departing on September 19, will terminate at Kottayam, and will begin its return journey from there on September 20.
