The dates for the SSLC and Higher Secondary/Vocational Higher Secondary examinations have been announced. The exams are scheduled to begin on 5 March and conclude on 30 March, with around 4.25 lakh students expected to take part. The announcement was made by Education Minister V. Sivankutty at a press conference in Thiruvananthapuram.

All exams will commence at 9:30 AM, while the IT model exams will be held from 12 to 22 January. The SSLC model exams are scheduled from 16 to 20 February. The Education Minister expressed hope that the results could be declared on 8 May.

The dates for the Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary examinations were also revealed. The first-year public examinations will be held from 5 to 27 March 2026, while the second-year exams are scheduled from 6 to 28 March. The Plus One public exams will begin in the afternoon at 1:30 PM, and the Plus Two public exams will start in the morning at 9:30 AM.

On Fridays, the exams will start at 9:15 AM and conclude at 12:00 PM. For the first-year public exams on 27 March, there will be two sessions: one in the morning and another in the afternoon. The model exams preceding the public exams are scheduled from 16 to 26 February.
