Kerala PSC set a historic milestone in 2025 by publishing a record 902 recruitment notifications, marking a major boost in government job opportunities.

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) set a new milestone in 2025 by publishing 902 recruitment advertisements, the highest number in its history and significantly surpassing the previous record of 816 notifications issued in 2022. The total also exceeded the 812 PSC notifications released in 2024, marking a notable rise in government job opportunities and recruitment activity in Kerala.
A majority of the advertisements published in 2025 belonged to NCA (No Candidate Available) recruitment and special recruitment categories, while a proportional number of general recruitment notifications were issued at both state and district levels. Remarkably, 294 advertisements were released within just two days, with 74 notifications issued on December 30 and 220 on December 31.
Unlike previous years, Kerala PSC followed a planned and phased recruitment strategy in 2025. Notifications began rolling out from March, starting with Kerala Administrative Service (KAS) recruitment, followed by 536 notifications up to November. More than 360 recruitment notifications were published in December alone, ensuring comprehensive coverage of various public sector vacancies.
Major annual recruitment notifications published in 2025 included vacancies for:
- University Assistant
- Assistant posts in Boards, Corporations and Companies
- Last Grade Servants
- Beverages Corporation Clerk
- Higher Secondary School Teachers in multiple subjects
- Assistant Surgeon and Casualty Medical Officer
- Various Uniformed Service Posts
In addition, new notifications were issued for several posts where earlier PSC rank lists were cancelled prior to expiry, including Beat Forest Officer, Firewoman, Overseer/Draftsman and others.
