IUML leader M.K. Muneer stable in Kozhikode hospital after cardiac arrest due to low potassium.

Kozhikode, Kerala: M.K. Muneer, Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) leader and Koduvally MLA, was admitted to a private hospital in Kozhikode on Thursday after suffering a cardiac arrest. Doctors said the attack was caused by hypokalemia, a dangerously low level of potassium in the blood.
Current condition
He is receiving treatment in the hospital’s critical care unit. While his condition remains serious, hospital sources said he is stable and responding well to treatment.
What led to the health scare
Reports said Muneer had felt exhausted after attending several events across the Koduvally constituency the previous day, which may have contributed to his sudden illness.
