The suspect, identified as 26-year-old Mohammed Ijas from nearby Palakkad district, sent an email claiming that a bomb was planted on the flight heading to Abu Dhabi from Kozhikode.
On Tuesday evening, the airport director received the email, leading to immediate action from the police. With help from cyber police, they quickly identified Ijas as the source of the threat.
