Kollam: The Leela Raviz Ashtamudi has unveiled its newest luxury retreat, The Raviz Palace - a heritage masterpiece that would elevate Kerala’s already rich tourism experience. This architectural marvel offers a seamless blend of history, culture and modern indulgence.

Nestled in an area with an exceptional air quality index of around 30, the palace benefits from pristine fresh air enhancing the tranquil atmosphere and offering guests a serene peaceful environment ideal for relaxation.

The palace was originally built in 1911 (or 1087 as per Kolla Varsham - the Malayalam era). The palace beautifully combines Kerala’s vernacular traditions with Dutch and Portuguese influences. Its ornate wooden interiors, intricate craftsmanship, and design principals rooted in Vaasu Shastra reflect the region’s cultural heritage while offering the finest in modern indulgence.

The guests are welcomed into this world of luxury via three grand modes: a serene boat ride across Lake Ashtamudi, a scenic drive through Kerala’s picturesque landscapes, or exclusive access via a private helipad. The breathtaking views of both sunrise and sunset reflecting on the shimmering lake give an intimate connection to nature’s real beauty.

“Our vision for the Raviz Palace - Ashtamudi has always been to honour and preserve Kerala’s rich heritage. Every detail reflects the cultural legacy it represents. By introducing unique experiences, we offer our guests a profound connection to the region’s traditions and natural bounty. It is our privilege to share this timeless treasure with the world, “ said Dr B Ravi Pillai, Chairman of the RP group.

The unveiling ceremony was an intimate affair attended by dignitaries including N K Premachandran, MP, Mayor Prasanna Earnest, Mukesh M, MLA, Tourism Director Sikha Surendran IAS among others.
