New Delhi: The Kerala High Court’s District Court Case Management System (DCMS) has been awarded the Gold Award at the National e-Governance Awards. The award recognises excellence in implementing citizen-centric e-Governance initiatives and highlights innovation in using artificial intelligence and new-age technologies.

By leveraging AI and modern technologies, the DCMS has streamlined court procedures, reduced paper dependency, improved access to information, and enabled faster service delivery to citizens. Implemented across the District Judiciary of Kerala, the DCMS is a comprehensive, end-to-end digital platform designed to transform court administration and enable a paperless judicial ecosystem.

The system incorporates AI-powered features, including AI-based Case Crux Creation, AI-assisted Case Summarisation, Intelligent Chatbot Services, Advanced Search and Information Retrieval Mechanisms, live Court Module for paperless eco system, AI Based Voice-to-Text capabilities integrated within judicial workflows, automation and intelligent assistance for various court processes.

The technology has been conceptualised, designed, developed, and implemented entirely by the in-house team of the Kerala High Court. The recognition underscores Kerala High Court’s commitment to modernising judicial administration and delivering efficient, technology-driven, citizen-friendly judicial services.
