Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government is mulling on approaching the Supreme Court bringing to its notice the reluctance of the state governor in signing and approving several bills passed by the assembly. Meanwhile, in response to the situation, Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan has levelled serious allegations against Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan. 

Arif Khan accused Kerala CM of not fulfilling his constitutional duties and not explaining the bills to him personally, not even on a single occasion. “I am not a rubber stamp, it is the duty of the CM to give timely updates on the activities of the government to the Raj Bhavan. I won’t succumb to any sort of pressure. The Kerala government can go ahead with their decision to approach the Supreme Court regarding the unsigned bills,” said Arif Mohammed Khan, while talking to a television channel.

“I am bound to obey the court. I don’t consider the West Bengal episode as a reminder to me. The media is always hungry for sensation. They are being used as a tool for exerting pressure on individuals and agencies,” concluded the Governor.
