CPM Central Committee member A.K. Balan on Saturday stated that those "behaving like Narada" should not be part of the CPM, calling for action against party members supporting MLA P.V. Anvar, who recently severed ties with the party. The phrase "acting like Narada" implies that someone is behaving in a manner that incites conflict or betrayal, often by spreading misinformation or creating divisions. This reference is commonly used in political discourse to suggest that individuals are undermining the unity of a group or party for their own benefit.

Balan noted that Anvar claims to have the support of a CPM leader from Kannur, and if that is the case, the name of the person should be revealed. "As long as the name is not revealed by him, we see his claim as utterly baseless and untrue," he told Mathrubhumi News.

He added that Anvar does not have the support of even a single party member. He further noted that the names of Kannur leaders such as P. Jayarajan and E.P. Jayarajan should not be dragged into the discussion based on Anvar's claims.

Earlier on Friday, Anvar had claimed that he had received support from a senior CPM leader in Kannur for the issues he raised. He was speaking to reporters at his home in Edavanna. When asked whether it was P. Jayarajan or E.P. Jayarajan, Anvar replied that it was neither of them. He pointed out that there are other leaders in Kannur apart from the duo. Balan's remarks come at this juncture.
