Palakkad, Kerala: Body parts believed to be of two people were found stuffed in sacks and dumped in the Bhavani River in Attappadi. The body parts were recovered from three sacks in the Chavadiyur area of Pudur.
A forensic team has reached the spot and begun an examination.
Two heads were found inside one of the sacks when it was opened. Preliminary assessment suggests that one of the deceased was a person aged over 30. The other sacks have not yet been opened.
The body parts are likely to be shifted to Thrissur Medical College Hospital for further examination.
