Thiruvananthapuram: NCP has suspended state committee member G Padmakaran who is facing allegations over Kundara sexual assault case. It is learned that the party suspended him based on a report submitted by a commission appointed to probe the allegations.
NCP state president PC Chacko appointed the commission after the case triggered a controversy.
Along with Padmakaran, NCP also suspended Nationalist Labour Congress Kollam district president S Rajeev pending an inquiry.
