Kanhangad: Mathrubhumi Kannur staff reporter PP Libheesh Kumar has won this year’s MV Damodaran Memorial Award. The award is presented by the Kanhangad press forum. He won the award for his series ‘Parakkum Ro-Ro’ published in Mathrubhumi.  

Meanwhile, Asianet chief reporter Faisal Bin Ahmed won the K Surendran Memorial award for the best visual media journalist.
