
Thiruvananthapuram: Police have registered a case concerning the alleged impersonation row involving the Students' Federation of India (SFI) at Kattakada Christian College.
Recently ousted Prinicipal-in-charge GJ Shaiju and SFI area secretary Visakh are the first and second accused in the case. Both are booked under various charges, including cheating, forging documents and Impersonation.

The incident relates to SFI's alleged move to place a fellow student leader at the Kerala University Union by replacing their elected candidate in the college union election.
Police registered a case on Sunday based on a complaint filed by the registrar of Kerala University. Earlier today, Shaiju was removed as principal-in-charge, days after his role in SFI's impersonation bid came to light.
