Kattapana: The local administration issued a stop memo to a building illegally being constructed with a fake thandeperu. The hospital is being build under the leadership of a CITU leader. The stop memo was issued as the land takeover was illegal and several flaws were found in the construction.

The building was illegally constructed by taking over government land and using the thandeperu of another land. Former CITU leader Luko Joseph illegally acquired the land for the hospital construction. Former village officer Antony who was also involved in the crime has been suspended. The building in this land was taken for rent by the CPM and is running a hospital. The measures to take over the land has begun and is led by the Tehsildar. The Kattapana municipality has now issued a stop memo to discontinue all building activities.

A stop memo was issued to halt the construction of the building that was illegally build on an illegal land. The chairperson said that the municipality will go ahead with stern action if further violations are found. Earlier, the municipality had not given permission for any construction activities on the land.

Following this, a wrong thandeperu was used and construction started. As illegal activities were found, moves are on to acquire the land. Move to remove the construction materials have also begun.
