Kondotty: The hajj pilgrims who booked their slots via Kerala State Haj Committee can carry a maximum of 47 kilogram of baggage onboard the flight. The passengers are allowed to carry two check-in baggage with a maximum weight of 20 kilograms each and a cabin baggage with a maximum of 7 kilograms during the flight. 

The dimensions of the suitcase must not exceed 75 centimetres length, 55 centimetres width and 28 centimetres height. A maximum of 55 centimetres length, 40 centimetres width and 23 centimetres height is allowed for the cabin baggage. 

The authorities have informed the pilgrims not to carry items which are banned in Saudi Arabia. 

Earlier, the haj committee had distributed two suitcases and a handbag for each pilgrim to standardize the baggage of the passengers for hajj pilgrimage. However, the committee has decided not to distribute the baggage this year considering the disinterest of the pilgrims and the difficulty in dispensing the baggage on time.
