Varkala: Trip is Life has unveiled the debut edition of The Great Varkala Flea, a three-day micro-festival set to take place on 26, 27, and 28 December 2025 on the scenic cliffs of South Varkala. Designed as a slow-living, intimate celebration, the festival combines music, wellness, culture, and coastal lifestyle in a family-friendly, alcohol-free environment overlooking the Arabian Sea.

The event is being hosted at Canvas by Trip is Life and is positioned as a new cultural moment for Varkala, offering attendees a chance to experience the town in a sunlit, personal, and mindful way.

The Great Varkala Flea is curated by Trip is Life in partnership with Kerala Tourism and the Kerala Arts and Crafts Village.

The festival’s music lineup has been curated by Varkala Sonic Distribution System, featuring some of India’s most respected names in electronic and live music, including Hamza Rahimtula, Ayesha Pramanik, Stalvart John, J Babe (Live), Sakre (Live), Alboe (Live), Priyansha, Yumvee, Dsco Patrol, DJ Khan, Joven Roy & Cherry Cola. Original live acts will take over the sunsets, creating immersive soundscapes that blend with the sea and cliffs.

Beyond music, the festival emphasises wellness and movement. Attendees can join sunrise yoga, sound healing, kalari, animal flow, and curated surf sessions, offered in collaboration with local wellness collectives including Soul & Surf India, Ojaswi, and Bhumiveda Ayurveda Spa.

A curated mix of regional and contemporary cuisine, artisanal desserts, and homegrown makers will showcase India’s conscious craft culture. From independent brands to design collectives, the festival celebrates the spirit of the coast.

Price and how to book your tickets?

General festival passes are priced at ₹1,999 and allow entry and re-entry across all three days. Additional experiences like yoga, surfing, and ayurveda sessions are available via separate tickets.
