Alappuzha: Goonda gangs clashed in Thrikkunnapuzha around Saturday midnight. The fight involved individuals with criminal backgrounds, and CCTV visuals of the incident have now surfaced.

A group with criminal backgrounds had arrived from Harippad to attend the Aswathi festival at the Valiyakulangara Temple in Alappuzha. They later visited a nearby KTDC beer parlour, where an argument reportedly broke out with another group, including Vishnu. The initial confrontation took place in front of the beer parlour and later escalated near the area where festival arrangements were underway.

Following the incident, police reached the spot and took several individuals into custody. However, two of them reportedly escaped by jumping out of the police jeep. Those injured in the clash sought treatment at the Government Medical College in Vandanam and a private hospital in Parumala, but managed to evade police custody.
