Alappuzha: Four persons who had threatened Mavelikara Additional District Session Court Judge (1) VG Sreedevi via social media platforms after the verdict in the Ranjith Sreenivasan murder case, have been arrested. While one has been sent to remand, three of them remain in police custody.

The arrested were natives of Mannancherry and Thiruvananthapuram. The accused were taken into custody by Alappuzha South police. It should be noted that the police had heightened security for the judge post the verdict.
