Kannur, Kerala: In light of the recent development regarding the extradition of Tahawwur Rana, one of the accused in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, a former NSG commando and Shaurya Chakra awardee from Kerala recalled his role during the operation that saved countless lives.
Speaking to ANI, former NSG commando PV Manesh shared, "During that operation, I was one of the NSG commandos. I killed two terrorists at the Oberoi Hotel."
Manesh also recalled the injury he sustained in a grenade attack during the operation.
"I was injured when terrorists threw a grenade at me. Three splinters penetrated my head, and one remains lodged inside, as it couldn't be removed. The right side of my body is paralyzed, and I am now disabled," he revealed.
