Kozhikode: The flydubai flight returned without landing at the Karipur international airport here for the second day. Following this, the passengers who were waiting to board the flight to Dubai created ruckus.

The incidents started around 5 pm on Friday.

The flight from Dubai to Kozhikode circled over the Karipur airport several times but didn’t land. It then flew to Coimbatore. Later in the night, the flight again returned to Karipur but again the pilot refused to land. The flight was then taken to Kochi and the passengers were shifted to hotels.

On Saturday morning, the flight again returned to Kozhikode but the pilot didn’t land the aircraft due to rain. It was again taken to Kochi and the passengers deboarded. They were then taken to Kozhikode via road.

At the same time, 150 passengers who were waiting to board the fight back to Dubai got stranded here.

Meanwhile, another fight landed in Kozhikode from Dubai on Saturday evening. There were 183 passengers to board this flight back to Dubai. But their check-in procedures were obstructed by the passengers of the earlier flight. They demanded to be taken first. This caused hours of delay in the flight returning to Dubai.
