Kochi: A female doctor has lodged a complaint against a senior physician at Ernakulam general hospital, accusing him of forcibly kissing her in 2019, during her house surgency period at the hospital. The doctor also shared her account of the incident on Facebook.

The doctor lodged her complaint via email, with copies being sent to the health department director and the hospital superintendent. The hospital superintendent will launch a probe into the incident before handing over the case to police.

The doctor recalled that she had shared her bad experience with her colleagues back then, however, chose to lodge a complaint only now.
