Kayamkulam: Police are trying to get the custody of former SFI leader Abin C Raj in connection with the document forgery case involving Nikhil Thomas. Abin, who is a native of Kandallor, is currently working in Maldives.

Earlier, Kayamkulam DySP G Ajaynath, who is investigating the case, had informed the media that Abin’s name was included in the list of accused in the document forgery case at MSM college.

The police have collected the passport details of the culprit and have talked to him over phone as well. It’s known that Abin created several other fake certificates as well. Police are now working out plans to bring Abin to Kerala at the earliest.
