Kochi: Actor Tini Tom stressed the importance of not falling into the trap of drugs. He said that all parents wish for the well-being and happiness of their children. Commenting on the backlash he faced from a section of people for his earlier comments on drug use, the actor told Mathrubhumi news that such criticisms do not bother him. He firmly believed that truth will triumph in the end.

“We know a person who has taken a gunshot for the sake of his nation, someone else was ‘crucified’ in history, Che Guevara has said that it’s easy to kill, but not to defeat,” the actor used the references while addressing students of Kalady Sree Sarada Vidya. He was talking at an event organised in connection with the anti-drugs day.  

“Similarly ‘purchasing’ fake educational certificates will ultimately land people in trouble,” the actor said, referring to the recent controversies in the state.
