Kochi: All Kerala Chemists and Druggists Association has instructed all medical shops in the state to give medicines to only those customers having a face mask on.  The association believes that more people would turn up to buy medicines as lockdown relaxations have already been announced.

There is a good possibility that customers will have to interact with others in a close range in medical shops. AKCDA Ernakulam district president PV Tommy stated that it was in this context that instruction regarding the face masks were given.  He also said that similar instructions have been given in other districts as well. Also the working time of medical shops will be till 7 pm.
