New Delhi: Seventeen Members of Parliament have been selected for the Sansad Ratna Awards 2025, recognising their exemplary performance in the Lok Sabha. The recipients include representatives from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shiv Sena, Congress, Nationalist Congress Party–Sharadchandra Pawar (NCP-SP), and the Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP).

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)

The BJP has the highest number of awardees on the list. Notable names include:

  • Ravi Kishan
  • Nishikant Dubey
  • Smita Uday Wagh
  • Medha Kulkarni
  • Praveen Patel
  • Bidyut Baran Mahato
  • Dilip Saikia

Bhartruhari Mahtab (Odisha), also from the BJP, was conferred a Special Jury Award for consistent performance in the 16th, 17th and current Lok Sabha. He also chairs the Standing Committee on Finance, which was recognised in the committee category for its quality reports and oversight contributions.

Shiv Sena (including both factions)

From the Shiv Sena, two MPs were honoured:

  • Arvind Sawant (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction)
  • Naresh Mhaske

Shrirang Appa Barne (Shiv Sena, Maharashtra) received a Special Jury Award for sustained parliamentary excellence over three successive terms.

Nationalist Congress Party–Sharadchandra Pawar (NCP-SP)

Supriya Sule, representing NCP-SP from Maharashtra, was named among the general awardees and also received a Special Jury Award.

Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP)

N K Premachandran, the MP from Kerala representing the RSP, was awarded a Special Jury Award for his consistent performance in the Lok Sabha since the 16th term.

Indian National Congress

Two members from the Congress party were awarded:

  • Varsha Gaikwad
  • Dr Charanjit Singh Channi, Chair of the Standing Committee on Agriculture, which was recognised for legislative oversight and report quality.
