Thiruvananthapuram: Adding more spice to the ongoing war of words between KPCC president K Sudhakaran and LDF convener EP Jayarajan, controversial figure ‘dallal’ Nandakumar has said that EP had held discussions with senior BJP leader Prakash Javadekar. While speaking to the reporters on Thursday, Nandakumar  said that Javadekar had reached Kerala and met Jayarajan seeking the support of the Left parties to win a seat from Kerala. He said that he too was present during the meeting of the two leaders.

"Javadekar had said that, if the left parties would offer support, BJP would be able to open their account in Kerala," Nandakumar said.

“When Javadekar had said that BJP stands no chance in Kerala, EP too said that, BJP would not win. But, then Javadekar said that if the Left parties would help BJP, they would return the help by closing down the SNC Lavalin case and gold smuggling case," he said. “Javadekar also said that if the CPM is ready for an adjustment in Kerala, Amit Shah would himself come to Kerala and would give assurance regarding these things," Nandakumar said.

‘When Javadekar mentioned about ‘Vaidekam’ resort, EP had retorted that he is not worried about it and there is no need of bargaining in connection with that. Then, Javadekar had asked EP’s support to help so that Suresh Gopi could win the seat from Thrissur. But, EP had said that it can not be done in Kerala. He also had said that it is CPI which is an ally of the LDF, which is contesting from Thrissur and no adjustment can not be done in connection with this seat," said Nandakumar. He also said that, EP had asked whether BJP could shift Suresh Gopi from Thrissur.

"With this, the discussion failed . Following this meeting, I had met Javadekar four times. EP had come and met Javadekar as the man to protect Pinarayi Vijayan’s interests," Nandakumar said.
