Southern Railways has announced changes in train service patterns due to ongoing engineering works in Salem Division. The affected trains include:

·Train No. 13352 Alappuzha – Dhanbad Express leaving Alappuzha at 06.00 hrs o­n 08th, 10th August 2024 will be diverted to run via Podanur – Irugur skipping stoppage at Coimbatore. Additional stoppage will be provided at Podanur with timings 12.15 hrs (Arr)/12.20 hrs (Dep)

·Train No.12678 Ernakulam Jn – KSR Bengaluru Daily Intercity Express leaving Ernakulam at 09.10 hrs on 08th, 10th August 2024 will be diverted to run via Podanur – Irugur skipping stoppage at Coimbatore.  Additional stoppage will be provided at Podanur with timings 12.47 hrs (Arr)/12.50 hrs (Dep)

·Train No. 18190 Ernakulam – Tata Nagar Express leaving Ernakulam at 07.15 hrs o­n 08th, 10th August 2024 will be diverted to run via Podanur, Coimbatore and Irugur.

·Train No. 16843 Tiruchchirappalli – Palakkad Town Express leaving Tiruchchirappalli at 13.00 hrs o­n 02nd August 2024 will be short terminated at Uttukuli. The train will be partially cancelled between Uttukuli and Palakkad Town.
