Kozhikode: Enforcement Directorate conducted a raid at the Uralungal Labour Contract Co-operative Society's headquarters in Vadakara. It is reported that the raid was regarding the investigation in the case pertaining to the Chief Minister’s Additional Private Secretary, CM Raveendran.

The raid was held from 9 am to 11.45 am on Monday. The contracts received by Uralungal society were examined during the raid.

An officer from ED’s Kochi unit visited the place for the raid along with an officer from the Kozhikode unit. ED examined whether CM Raveendran had any links to the dealings of Uralungal society in the primary investigation.

Uralungal labour society was awarded the contract of various government projects. There were questions raised regarding why Uralungal got so many government contracts.
