Thrissur: A sexagenarian has been seriously injured when a wild boar attacked him near his house on Wednesday morning. Chandran (68) of Chanothu Thathanayi House has suffered severe injuries on his ribs and legs in the attack.
He was picking mangoes from his neighbourhood area here when the wild animal rushed towards him and attacked him .
Chandran’s relatives and neighbours rescued him from the animal and rushed to the hospital. According to the local people, the wild boar ventured into the area again after the incident.
It was for the first time, a wild boar attack was reported from the area.
