Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday night took to his Facebook page and expressed condolences over the death of Malayalam movie director Sachy who passed away in Thrissur due to heart attack.

“Through the untimely death of director Sachy, Malayalam movie industry has lost a talented artiste. He was a popular script writer and director and had many successful movies to his credit. Joining in the grief of his family and friends,” Pinarayi Vijayan wrote.

Sachy, the 48-year-old was recovering from a hip surgery when he suffered a heart attack on Tuesday. He was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of a leading hospital in Thrissur.
