Kochi: The primary suspect in the robbery at director Joshiy’s house, Mohammad Irfan, hailing from Bihar, has been apprehended. Karnataka Police arrested him in connection with the case. Gold and diamond jewelry worth Rs 1 crore is reported to have been recovered from him.

Irfan is suspected to have connection with numerous theft cases spanning across 12 states. The investigation, spearheaded by Kochi police focusing on four states, ultimately led to his arrest. The suspect is known as "Robin Hood" in Bihar.

The crucial evidence provided by CCTV footage from Joshiy's residence, along with footage from another surveillance camera, played a pivotal role in identifying and apprehending the suspect.

The Kerala Police checked the route of this car which was found under suspicious circumstances. It was later learned that this car had crossed the Karnataka border. Following this, Irfan was arrested in Udupi. Kerala Police will take custody of him after the completion of legal formalities in court.
