Thiruvananthapuram: Police have arrested director Lakshmi Deeptha, accused of forcing individuals to act in adult web series. Nedumangad court here granted conditional bail to her based on an order issued by Kerala High Court.

The arrest was based on a complaint lodged by a youth. According to the complaint, the director called to offer a role in a film. After entering into a contract, he was allegedly forced to act in adult web series shot at an apartment in Aruvikkara here.

Another woman from Malappuram had made raised a similar allegation against the same director. She even alleged that the police were not registering a case against the director.
