Shoranur: A dead frog was found in food bought by a passenger from Shoranur railway station. The native of Alappuzha found the amphibian in the chutney that accompanied his vada.

The passenger had bought the chutney and vada from a shop at Shoranur railway station. After finding the dead frog, he registered a complaint.

In response, the Health Department of Railways has taken action against the contractor responsible for the food. According to reports, a fine will be imposed on the contractor.
