Kottayam: LDF Puthuppally candidate Jaick C Thomas’ wife is planning to file a complaint against the alleged cyberattacks against her on social media.

The Facebook post in question alleges that Jaick is trying to garner sympathy votes by using his pregnant wife, Geethu Thomas. An edited video of Geethu requesting votes for her husband is being used for the campaign with a slanderous caption, ‘The attempt to gain sympathy by bringing a wife who claims to be pregnant will not work in Puthupally, Jaick’.

The post was shared by a fake account called ‘Phantom Paily’. It received several comments as well. 

Geethu is eight months pregnant. She said that she was thinking of lodging complaints against the cyber attack including with the cyber police after consulting Jaick on the matter.
