Dileep
Kochi: The Crime branch has reportedly retrieved some of the data erased by cyber expert Sai Shankar from actor Dileep’s phone. It includes a few WhatsApp chats also. During the interrogation, Sai Shankar had confessed that Dileep had demanded to remove data from his phone so that it could not be recovered, stated the investigation officers.
It has been reported that Dileep would be questioned regarding this on Monday. Before deleting data from Dileep’s phone, Sai Shankar had saved crucial data from the phone. The Crime Branch discovered this as a critical turn while unleashing an investigation over Sai Shankar.
Sai Shankar also informed the Crime Branch that Dileep had asked him to delete the data pertaining to court proceedings in the case. The investigation team expects important developments in the coming days.
