Kochi: Crime Branch has sent a notice to Anjali Reema Dev to appear for questioning in connection with the No 18 hotel POCSO case. Anjali was asked to appear before the Kochi officer of the CB on Wednesday.
Anjali secured anticipatory bail from the high court.
Roy Vayalat, owner of the hotel, had surrendered before the Crime Branch after the court denied anticipatory bail. Following this, Saiju Thankachan, another accused in the case, surrendered on Monday. Crime Branch took Saiju to the hotel for evidence collection.
A Wayanad native and her minor daughter complained to the police that three had sexually abused the daughter at the No 18 hotel.
