Thiruvananthapuram: CPM state secretariat blamed that P K Kunhalikutty is playing with the lives of many Keralites with his statement that UAE is not bringing dates and Quran to Kerala through the right channel.

UAE is a country where most number of Keralites are working. When Kunhalikutty alleges that gold was smuggled through dates and Quran sent to the consulate, he is declaring it as a country of smuggling, CPM alleged.

The Customs had cleared the items brought to the consulate. If Kunhalikutty is firm on his statement that gold was smuggled under the guise of gold, he should hand over the evidences to the NIA or apologize.

Case should be charged against Kunhalikutty for making a statement that may even endanger the diplomatic relation between two countries, CPM demanded.

Kunhalikutty is ready to go to any extend for BJP and is making some dangerous moves. Even after religious organisations opposed, he repeated the anti-Quran statement to prove his loyalty to the BJP, CPM state secretariat alleged.
