Thiruvananthapuram: 21 people from a relief camp at Valiyathura here tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday. 

They were staying in the disaster relief camp at Valiyathura Government UP School. They include senior citizens and children. 

They tested positive after 50 people in the camp underwent antigen tests. The infected persons have been admitted to different hospitals. There are 70 people in the camp. The others will undergo coronavirus tests on Friday.

A similar situation had happened at an old age home in Kochuthura, where 35 people tested positive for COVID-19.
